Steel tubes for sprinkler or fire-fighting systems

Carbon steel tubes for sprinkler and fire-fighting systems supplied by Acciaitubi, welded or seamless, mainly comply with EN 10255 and EN 10217-1 standards, and also with EN 10216 for specific pressure applications.
Carbon steel is characterized by a high melting point (approx. 1400–1500 °C) and good mechanical performance in case of exposure to fire for limited periods.
The tubes can be supplied in different finishes (black, hot-dip galvanized according to EN 10240-1 or externally coated with water-based or epoxy paint) and in a wide range of diameters and thicknesses, depending on installation requirements. They can have plain or grooved ends according to Victaulic standards (one or both ends).
